Gioco tranquillo in movimento

In uso

Gioco tranquillo in movimento

FAQ

Questions before checkout

What age is the felt busy book for?
It suits toddlers and preschool age children who are working on shapes, colours, counting and fine motor skills. The felt pieces are chunky and soft, and the busy board panels like the zipper, laces and buttons match the practical skills young children like to copy from grown ups. A parent can sit alongside to name pieces, or a child can explore alone once they know how the pieces attach.
How many pages does it have?
Page count depends on the set you choose, from a simple three page version up to five page versions. Simpler sets focus on a few clear activities, while the five page sets add more themed scenes and attachable pieces. The busy board panel with the zipper, laces, buckles and clock sits on its own dedicated page in most sets.
Which themes can I choose from?
Themes include blue dinosaurs, pink mermaids, unicorns, snow white, a toy car track and a space universe set. Each theme uses the same soft felt build with attachable pieces, and simply changes the scenes and characters a child plays with. Pick the theme that matches your child's current favourite for the easiest way to hold their attention.
Does it come with a pen?
The space universe sets include a felt pen for the drawing pages, and a drawing board option adds a wipe surface for marks and shapes. Other themed sets focus on the attachable felt pieces and the busy board panels rather than a pen. Check the set name when you choose, since the pen is listed with the space and drawing board options.
What skills does the busy board teach?
The busy board panel gives a child practical life skills to practise with their fingers, including a zipper, shoe laces, a toggle, belts and buckles, an adjustment buckle, clothes buttons, a turning gear and a clock face. Working these panels builds grip, hand control and patience, and lets a child copy everyday tasks like doing up a zip or a button in a calm, repeatable way.
Will the felt pieces get lost?
The felt pieces hold gently in place on the page, so there is far less to chase across the floor than with loose plastic toys. Pieces that come off store inside the zipped felt case, which folds shut with a carry handle. Keeping the book zipped between sessions is the simplest way to keep every piece together for next time.
Is it good for travel and quiet time?
Yes. The book folds flat, zips shut and is light enough to slip into a changing bag, so it works well in cars, planes, waiting rooms and at the kitchen table. Because the felt makes no noise and needs no screen or battery, it gives a young child a calm, hands on activity for quiet moments away from home.
How do I clean and care for it?
Wipe the felt gently with a damp cloth and let it air dry fully before folding it away. Avoid soaking it or putting it through a machine wash, since long contact with water can flatten the soft felt and loosen the stitched pieces. A quick wipe after messy play keeps the pages soft and the colours bright for the next session.
