You step out at six in the morning, the air still has bite, and the jacket sits close enough to feel like a second skin without holding you back. The zip slides up clean to the chin, the cuffs end just past the wrist, and after the first quarter mile the body is warm but the fabric is already shedding moisture instead of holding it.
Polyester spandex blend, lightweight enough to forget on the back, with four way stretch that follows the shoulder through a full arm swing. Slim cut through the torso so the layer reads like a real piece of clothing on the walk back, not a baggy shell. Full zip front, easy to crack open at a traffic light or pull all the way down on a hill climb.
First run, you notice it does not flap. By the second week it lives on the hook by the door instead of in the drawer. By the end of the month it is the layer pulled on for a quick weights session, a cool down jog, a coffee on the way back from the park.
Wear it over a sports bra in summer, under a heavier shell in winter, under a denim jacket on a slow Sunday. Machine wash cold, hang dry, the seams keep their line through repeated cycles. Built to move.

Lovely jacket. Looks like a lulu define, but the material isn't, this is thinner and 'cooler'. For the price though, it is perfect.
