Benefits

What this coloring blanket brings

  • Always more to color

White shapes cover the whole surface, so there is always another cat, flower or star waiting after the last one.

  • Pens are already in the box

A full coloring pen set ships with the blanket, so there is no hunt for markers before a child can sit down and start.

  • A calm screen free activity

Coloring keeps small hands busy through a rainy afternoon or a slow weekend, with no screen and no mess to set up.

  • The picture grows over time

Each pen stroke stays on its shape, so a colored patch keeps its color and the scene builds brighter every session.

  • Still a soft blanket

When the coloring stops, the soft fleece folds up and works as a throw over the couch or the foot of a bed.

FAQ

Questions before checkout

Does it come with the coloring pens?
Yes. The blanket ships with a full coloring pen set packed in the same box, so a child can uncap a color and start filling in the white shapes right away. There is nothing extra to buy before the first coloring session, which makes it easy to unroll the blanket and get straight to coloring the moment it arrives.
What shapes are printed on the blanket?
The soft black fabric is printed edge to edge with white outline shapes: cats, dogs, flamingos, daisies, sunflowers, rainbows, stars, hearts, diamonds, donuts, bows and ice cream cones. Each one is a clean shape ringed in black, waiting to be filled in. The layout is packed, so a child always has another shape to color next to the last one.
How big is the blanket?
It is a large floor sized blanket, wide enough for a child to stretch out on and color across a big open scene. You can lay it flat on the living room floor for a full coloring session, or fold it over a lap on the couch to work on a smaller patch. When the coloring stops, it folds up like any blanket over a couch or the foot of a bed.
Is it a one time coloring toy?
No. The scene is packed with hundreds of white shapes, so the blanket keeps a child coloring over many sittings rather than filling up in one go. One corner can bloom into bright color while the rest of the scene stays outlined and waiting. Because each pen stroke stays on the shape, the picture grows a little brighter every time the blanket comes out.
Can it still be used as a blanket?
Yes. It is a soft fleece blanket with a plush backing, so once the coloring stops it folds up and works as a throw over the couch or the foot of a bed. Fold it loosely rather than crushing the colored areas, and keep the pens with it so the whole activity stays together for the next quiet afternoon.
Who is the blanket best for?
It suits children who love to color and parents looking for a calm screen free activity for a rainy afternoon or a slow weekend at home. It also makes a birthday gift that keeps a kid busy across several sittings. Younger colorists can take one shape at a time, since the outlines are large and there is always more of the scene left to fill.
Does the color stay on the fabric?
Each pen stroke stays on the shape it fills, so a colored patch keeps its color while the rest of the blanket stays outlined. That is what lets the picture build up slowly over many afternoons instead of finishing in one sitting. Fold the blanket loosely to protect the colored areas so the scene keeps looking its best between sessions.
How do I store the blanket and pens?
Fold the blanket loosely so you do not crush the colored areas, and tuck the pens back into their pack so they stay with the blanket. Keeping the blanket and its pens together means the whole activity is ready to go for the next quiet afternoon, with no hunting for markers before a child can sit down and color again.
