Why It Works

A brushless motor has no brushes to switch its own coils, so something has to do it electronically: the controller reads the hall sensors, works out where the rotor is, and fires the three phases in turn. How It Fits Your Routine

Start with a photograph, not a spanner. Open the deck, shoot the existing loom from two angles with the plugs still mated, and only then start unplugging. Colour coding varies between builders, and a photo taken before you touch anything is the cheapest insurance in this job.
