Kids See It On The Screen

2 Inch Screen

Kids See It On The Screen

The 2 inch IPS screen is the heart of it. A wide 178 degree angle keeps the picture clear and true in color from the side, so a child never presses one eye to a small lens. Point it at a butterfly wing or a flower, turn the focus wheel, and the detail fills the screen for the whole table to share at once.

Bright Lens, Eight LED Ring

8 LED Lens

Bright Lens, Eight LED Ring

Behind the clear base sits a 2 megapixel lens circled by eight small LED lights. They flood the sample with even, shadow free light so colors stay true, and a button raises or lowers the glow. The lens reaches up to 1000x, pulling leaf veins, insect wings and paper fibers into sharp, close view on the screen.

White, Orange, Pink, Purple

Four Colors

White, Orange, Pink, Purple

Pick from four soft grip colors: white, orange, pink and purple. Each one is the same pocket size microscope, about 10.5 by 8 by 5 cm and 226g, light enough to hang from the yellow neck strap on a backyard hunt. A 600mAh battery runs around two hours and recharges over the USB cable, so the exploring carries on both outside and indoors.

Why this product

Why kids get on with it

  • 1

View on a 2 inch screen

The magnified image shows on a bright 2 inch IPS screen instead of a tiny eyepiece, so a child and a parent can look at the same view at once.

  • 2

    Up to 1000x zoom

The lens reaches up to 1000x, bringing leaf veins, insect wings and paper fibers into close view on the screen.

  • 3

    Eight LED ring light

Eight LEDs circle the lens and light the sample evenly, with a button to raise or lower the brightness.

  • 4

    Steady clear base

A clear plastic base rests on a leaf, a coin or a fingertip and holds the microscope steady while the side wheel sets the focus by hand.

How it works

How to use it

  • Charge it and hang it on
    1

Charge it and hang it on

Top up the battery over the USB cable, then clip on the yellow neck strap so the microscope hangs ready for a backyard hunt or a walk in the park.

  • Rest the base on the object
    2

Rest the base on the object

Press the clear plastic base gently over a leaf, a flower, a coin or a fingertip. The base steadies the microscope right on top of the sample.

  • Turn the wheel to focus

    Save the photo and share

Tap the button to save the picture onboard, look back at it on the screen, then plug into a computer over USB to copy the photos across.
