Half an orange goes in the cup, cut face down, and the long upper arm comes over the top. You close your hand once. The juice leaves through the holes in a wide shower, straight into the bowl below, and when you open the lever the spent half is a flat disc of pith you tip into the bin. No cord, no motor, no bowl to rinse afterwards except the one you poured into.
The whole tool is 304 stainless steel, lever arms, cup and plunger alike, so it goes under the tap and back on the rail. The maker sells it in two builds. The ordinary one has a basket punched with holes across its entire body and measures 26.5 cm end to end at about 366 g. The upgraded one has a smooth walled cup and three perforated discs that swap at the base, and measures 27.5 cm at about 393 g.
Best for: one or two glasses of fresh juice at a time, pomegranate seeds, and anyone who makes gnocchi or dumpling filling and is tired of a potato masher leaving lumps.
The leverage is the reason it beats a hand squeeze: a 15 cm arm turns a light grip into enough force to flatten a half orange, and the cup keeps the pith and the seeds where the shower does not go. The two builds then split on where the liquid leaves. A basket perforated over its whole body drains sideways as well as down, which suits juicy fruit; a solid cup with a single perforated disc at the bottom pushes everything through one plane, which is exactly what turns a boiled potato into strands rather than mash. That is why the upgraded style ships with three discs instead of one hole size.

Breakfast is the obvious one. Two orange halves make a small glass, and the whole job including the rinse is shorter than setting up an electric juicer.
Then there is the cooking side, which is where the upgraded style earns its extra gram. Boiled potato pressed through the fine disc lands as light strands for gnocchi or a smooth mash with no gluey streaks, and a handful of blanched spinach loses its water in one squeeze before it goes into a filling.
Care is short. Rinse it while the pulp is still wet, because dried pith in fine perforations is the one job that takes a brush. Steel does not stain, so it can drip dry on the rack.
What is the difference between ordinary and upgrade? The ordinary cup is punched with holes across its whole body. The upgraded cup is smooth walled and takes three interchangeable perforated discs at the base. The upgraded one is also 1 cm longer and about 27 g heavier.
What are the colour box options? The same two presses supplied in a printed retail carton rather than plain packaging. The tool is unchanged.
Can it juice a whole watermelon or a potato? It presses fruit that has been cut to fit the 9.8 cm cup, so watermelon goes in as chunks. Potato is not juiced, it is riced: boil it first, then press it through the disc.
Are the three discs included with the upgrade? The maker panel for the upgraded style shows the three disc types as part of that build. The packing list counts the whole press as one item and lists no spare parts beyond it.
