The Mini Handheld Turbo Fan is a pocket sized personal fan built around a ducted turbine. Instead of open spinning blades, an internal impeller sits inside a rounded housing and pushes a focused stream of air out of the front.
It fits in the palm of your hand and slips into a bag or a large pocket, so it is easy to carry for travel, commutes and warm rooms at home or at your desk.
A pocket sized turbo fan
The body measures 91 by 37 by 45 millimetres, roughly the size of a small handle you can wrap your fingers around. A textured panel along the grip gives your hand something to hold.
The turbine sits at the top in a short cylindrical housing, and the airflow comes out in one direction so you can aim it at your face, neck or arms.
It is offered in a choice of soft colourways so you can pick the one you prefer.
Digital display and one button control
A small LED screen on the front shows the current wind level as a number, together with a battery gauge so you can see how much charge is left.
A single power button below the screen turns the fan on and steps through the wind levels. The maker lists up to 100 adjustable levels, so you can move the airflow from a light breeze to a stronger stream.
The maker also rates the fan at below 36 dB(A) and quotes up to about 3 hours of running time on a full charge, which will vary with the level you use.
USB rechargeable
