Empty, it sits in a small loop by the tap. You clip on the spray gun, open the water, and the fabric sleeve fills and stretches out along the path toward the car. Turn the tap off and it draws back down to a fraction of its length, ready to hang on a hook.
This is an expandable hose set built around a stretch hose, a seven pattern spray gun and the fittings to connect it. The gun dial turns between jet, cone, flat, shower, mist, centre and soaker so one nozzle covers the car, the borders and the patio.
Best for: washing the car, watering the garden and beds, and rinsing the patio, decking or bins around the house.
A stretch hose carries far less bulk than a rigid coil, so a long run stores in the space of a short one. The jet setting narrows the flow into a focused stream for stuck on dirt, while the shower and mist settings soften it for plants.

Screw the tap adaptor onto the outdoor tap, click the hose on, and set the nozzle to jet for the car or shower for the beds. Turn the water off and let the hose draw itself back in.
Use the three way connector to leave a sprinkler running on one line while you rinse tools on another.
Drain the hose and hang it out of direct sun between uses to keep the sleeve and core in good shape.
