Solar-G40-Lichterkette

Why this product

Why people string these up

1
Solar Charged All Day
A separate solar panel charges the string through the day, so the warm white bulbs glow at night with no wall socket and no running cord.
2
Warm White G40 Bulbs
The round G40 bulbs cast a soft warm white glow that turns a patio, courtyard or balcony cozy once the light fades.
3
IP44 Weather Ready
An IP44 rating keeps the string reliable through outdoor weather, so it can stay up across a fence, pergola or rail.
4
Filament Or LED Bulbs
Pick a vintage G40 filament bulb or an LED lamp bead look, both glowing the same soft warm white over the table.

How it works

How to set them up

1
Place the panel in the sun
Push the solar panel onto its ground spike, or set it on a rail, where it catches the most sun through the day so it can charge the string with no wall socket.
2
String the bulbs where you like
Run the round G40 bulbs along a fence, pergola, balcony rail or overhead. With a panel powering them, you hang them where you want the glow, not where a cord can reach.
3
Switch on the warm glow
Use the button on the panel or the remote to switch the warm white glow on and off and step through the settings. The bulbs come on at dusk over the table or seating area.
4
Leave them up, wipe them clean
The IP44 build keeps the line reliable through outdoor weather, so it stays up through the season. Wipe the panel and bulbs with a soft cloth so they keep charging and glowing.

Questions before checkout

Does it really run on solar with no plug?

Yes. A separate solar panel charges the string through the day, so the G40 bulbs come on at night with no wall socket and no running cord. You set the panel where it catches the most sun, then string the bulbs along a fence, pergola or balcony rail. There is a button on the panel and a remote to switch the warm white glow on and off.

What is the difference between the filament and LED bulbs?

Both options cast the same soft warm white glow. The vintage G40 filament bulb has a classic round look with a visible filament line inside the clear glass, while the LED lamp bead option gives the same round G40 shape with a lamp bead inside. You choose the look you prefer when you pick your length and bulb style.

Can it stay outside in the weather?

The string carries an IP44 rating, which keeps it reliable through outdoor weather, so it can stay up across a fence, pergola or rail. Set the solar panel where it catches the most sun and wipe the panel and bulbs with a soft cloth now and then so the line keeps charging and glowing. Treat it as outdoor decor rather than a submerged or underwater light.

How long is the string and how many bulbs do I get?

The string runs from 7.1m with 10 bulbs up to 15.3m with 30 bulbs, so you can pick the length that suits your space. Longer runs reach further across a courtyard or wedding setup, while shorter runs frame a balcony or a single table. Each option comes with two spare G40 bulbs in case one needs swapping.

Which solar panel size should I choose?

Solar panel options run from 0.5W to 3W and pair with the length you pick, so a longer string of bulbs comes with a larger panel to charge it. The panel sits on a ground spike where it can catch the most sun through the day. The longer the run and the more bulbs you light, the larger the panel that comes with it.

Where can I hang these lights?

They suit patios, courtyards, balconies, fences, pergolas and wedding or party setups that need a warm glow without a nearby outlet. Because a panel charges the string instead of a plug, you can place them wherever the panel catches sun rather than wherever a cord can reach. String them overhead, along a rail or zig zag across a yard.

Does the panel have a remote or any settings?

Yes. The solar panel has a control box with a button on it, and a remote comes in the kit so you can switch the warm white glow on and off and step through the lighting settings from a distance. The remote and the charging cable are included alongside the panel, the ground spike and the spare bulbs.

What comes in the box?

You get one solar G40 string light in your chosen length and bulb style, a separate solar panel with a ground spike, a remote, a charging cable and two spare G40 bulbs. Set the panel in the sun, string the bulbs where you want the glow, and keep the spares for an easy swap if a bulb ever needs changing.
