You pull the knit sleeve up over your knee, and the thick turtle shell pad settles right over the kneecap, ready for the next dive, drill or kneeling job.
These black knee pads are knit sleeves with a raised, textured sponge pad on the front. The pad is built from five curved segments that fit together like a turtle shell, and the maker lists it as a high density EVA sponge gasket, 3cm thick. The sleeve wraps all the way around the knee, so the pad stays where you put it.
The fabric is a nylon, spandex and polyester knit. The sleeve holds the pad close without a strap. Each set is a pair, with sizes S, M and L offered and a clear size chart based on your upper leg measurement.
Key Benefits
- 3cm EVA sponge pad A high density EVA sponge gasket that cushions the front of the knee when you kneel.
- Turtle shell shape Curved segments follow the shape of the knee and flex when you bend.
- Knit sleeve, no straps A nylon, spandex and polyester knit that wraps the knee and holds the pad in place.
- Breathable knit The polyester knit is made to stay comfortable through longer sessions.
- Many uses Dancing, basketball, volleyball, running, cycling and kneeling activities.
- Sold as a pair Two knee pads in the set, with a chart for S, M and L.
Best for: dancers, volleyball and basketball players, cyclists and anyone who spends time on their knees and wants a thick, low profile pad.
Why It Works
A thick sponge pad placed on a snug knit sleeve gives you cushioning without a bulky frame. The curved segments let the pad move with the joint, so you can bend, kneel and get back up without stopping to adjust.
