Product information
Frequently bought together
The lever goes down, the cup pulls flat against the tile, and the bar is on the wall in about four seconds.
It is a single moulded ABS handhold, 430 mm end to end, standing 90 mm off the wall, carried on two suction cups of 120 mm across. Each cup has its own flip lever: lay the bar flat, press it against the tile, push both levers down and the cup evacuates against the surface. There is no drilling, no plug, no anchor, no mark left when it comes off.
The handle itself is white with a grey moulded strip running along the underside where the fingers close, and a small diamond textured patch sits on the top face of each cup housing where the thumb lands. Two versions are offered: the standard extended bar, and a version the maker calls the sticky one, whose cups carry an adhesive backing.
Key Benefits
- Two locking suction cups, 120 mm across Each with its own flip lever. The lever is what makes the seal, not the pressure of your hand, which is why it goes on flat and comes off clean.
- No drilling anywhere Nothing is anchored into the tile and nothing is screwed into the grout. It comes off a rental wall without a trace.
- 430 by 90 mm Long enough for a full hand plus room, shallow enough not to catch a shoulder in a narrow shower.
- Moulded ABS with a textured handle strip The grey strip along the underside and the diamond patches on the cup housings are moulded into the part rather than glued on, so they cannot peel away.
- Set at any angle you like Because it is not fixed to a drilled hole pattern, it can go horizontal, vertical or diagonal, and it can be moved again tomorrow.
- Two versions The standard extended bar, and the version whose cups carry an adhesive backing, both in the same grey and white.
Best for: a rented bathroom where nothing can be drilled, a smooth tiled shower enclosure, a glass screen, or a second home you want to make a little easier to get around in without calling a fitter.
Why It Works, And Where It Does Not
Everything about this bar depends on one condition, and the maker states it plainly on its own panel: the wall has to be smooth. A suction cup needs a continuous non porous surface to evacuate against. Large format glazed tile, a glass shower screen or an acrylic panel will hold it. Textured tile, small mosaic with grout lines running under the cup, painted plaster, wallpaper and natural stone will not, whatever the levers do. Beyond that, we have to be blunt with you. The maker publishes no load figure, no test report and no standard of any kind for this bar. We are not going to invent one. Treat it as a handhold for steadying yourself, not as a bolted rail, and do not ask it to carry your full body weight.
Quick Product Facts: Material ABS; overall length 430 mm; projection from the wall 90 mm; suction cup diameter 120 mm; two cups, each with an independent flip lever; moulded textured strip along the underside of the handle and on the top of each cup housing; colour grey and white; two versions, standard extended and the adhesive backed cup version; surface requirement smooth and non porous per the maker; no load rating, test report or standard published by the maker; in the box, the bar, its cups, a set of mounting hardware and a manual.
How It Fits Your Routine
Clean and dry the tile first with a cloth, because the seal is only as good as what is under it. Hold the bar where you want it, press it flat, push both levers down together rather than one at a time, then pull on it firmly with both hands before you ever trust it wet.
Make that pull test a weekly habit, on the same day you clean the shower. Suction relaxes over time, especially with temperature swings, and the honest way to use a bar like this is to re seat it when it feels soft rather than to assume it is still where you left it.
To move it or take it off, lift the levers and break the seal at the edge of the cup with a fingernail. Wipe both cup faces clean before re seating; a hair or a grain of grit under the rim is the usual reason a cup will not hold.
FAQ
How much weight will it take? We do not know, and neither will you from anything the maker publishes. There is no load figure, no test report and no standard behind this product. Use it to steady yourself, not to pull your full weight up.
What surfaces will it hold on? Smooth, continuous, non porous ones: large glazed tile, glass, acrylic. It will not hold on textured tile, on mosaic where a grout line runs under the cup, on painted plaster, on wallpaper or on unsealed stone.
Do I need to drill? No. Nothing is anchored into the wall. That is also why the surface condition matters so much.
What is the difference between the two versions? One is the standard extended bar. On the other, the maker fits an adhesive backing to the cups. The bar itself, its length and its material are the same on both.
