Kitchen mixer inlet pipe guide
Single faucet without tube
The faucet body on its own, with no inlet pipes in the box.
- Recommended for
- Replacing a tap where your existing flexible connectors are sound and long enough to reuse.
- Fit
- Single lever mixer, deck mounted through one hole, pull out head on a hose that stretches 45 cm.
- Dimensions
- Faucet 43 cm tall (16.9 in), 25 cm reach (9.8 in), 20 cm clearance (7.9 in). No inlet pipe supplied.
- Notes
- Inlet and outlet are quoted at 1 2 inch by the maker. Check that your own hoses match before ordering this option.
Faucet 60cm water inlet pipe
The faucet plus inlet pipes of 60 cm.
- Recommended for
- A shallow cabinet where the shut off valves sit close under the sink.
- Fit
- Single lever mixer, deck mounted through one hole, pull out head on a hose that stretches 45 cm.
- Dimensions
- Inlet pipe 60 cm (23.6 in). Faucet 43 cm tall (16.9 in), 25 cm reach (9.8 in), 20 cm clearance (7.9 in).
- Notes
- Measure from your valve to the underside of the sink deck before choosing. A pipe that is too short cannot be extended safely.
Faucet 80cm water inlet pipe
The faucet plus inlet pipes of 80 cm, the longer of the two.
- Recommended for
- A deep cabinet, valves set low or towards the back, or a thick worktop.
- Fit
- Single lever mixer, deck mounted through one hole, pull out head on a hose that stretches 45 cm.
- Dimensions
- Inlet pipe 80 cm (31.5 in). Faucet 43 cm tall (16.9 in), 25 cm reach (9.8 in), 20 cm clearance (7.9 in).
- Notes
- When in doubt between the two lengths, the longer pipe simply coils; the shorter one has to reach.

The head comes off the spout and the far corner of the sink stops being a problem
There is a stockpot in the sink that will not sit under a fixed spout, and a colander of leaves waiting behind it. You lift the head out of the gooseneck, the hose pays out, and you fill the pot where it stands. Thumb the rocker on the barrel and the straight column turns into a wide spray for the leaves. Let go and the head drops back into the neck with a click.
Underneath the finish it is an ordinary, well specified mixer: 304 stainless steel, one lever for hot and cold, a ceramic cartridge on a 35 mm seat, and a single hole deck mount. The maker cotes the body at 43 cm to the top of the arch, 25 cm of reach out over the bowl and 20 cm of clearance under the spout, at a net weight of 1270 g. The hose stretches 45 cm.
Key Benefits
- A head that pulls out 45 cm. Far corners, tall pots and the draining board all come within reach without moving what you are rinsing.
- Two outlet modes on one button. A straight column for filling, a wide spray for rinsing, switched on the barrel of the head.
- 304 stainless steel and a ceramic cartridge. Steel body, ceramic disc cartridge on a 35 mm seat, which is the part that decides how the lever feels in a year.
- Cotes that let you check before you buy. 43 cm tall, 25 cm reach, 20 cm clearance, 1270 g. Measure your window sill before ordering a 43 cm tap.
- Five finishes. Brushed steel, jet black, gunmetal plated, electroplated silver and brushed gold, each shown on its own maker panel.
Best for: a single hole sink where the old fixed spout will not reach the second bowl, and anyone who fills buckets, vases or pots at the kitchen tap.
Why It Works
The two decisions that matter on a kitchen tap are the arc and the cartridge, and both are documented here. A 25 cm reach with 20 cm of clearance puts the water over the middle of a standard bowl rather than against the back wall, which is what makes a tall pot possible in the first place. The cartridge is ceramic on a 35 mm seat, the size most European replacement cartridges are sold in, so the wearing part is not a dead end. The inlet is quoted at 1 2 inch, the thread European flexible hoses use, and the maker adds a salt spray test level of 5 for the finish.
Quick Product Facts: 304 stainless steel; single lever mixer; deck mounted through one hole; pull out head with a 45 cm hose stretch; two outlet modes, column and spray; height 43 cm; reach 25 cm; clearance 20 cm; ceramic cartridge; valve seat 35 mm; inlet and outlet 1 2 inch; net weight 1270 g; salt spray test level 5; five finishes; packing list is the faucet body, with inlet hoses on the two hose options only.
How It Fits Your Routine
Day to day it is the spray mode that gets used: plates, a chopping board, the sink itself after preparing fish. The column comes out for the kettle and the pasta pot.
Installation is the part to plan. It drops through one hole in the worktop or the sink deck and tightens from below. Choose the Series option carefully: the base option is the faucet body on its own, and the other two add a 60 cm or an 80 cm inlet pipe. If your shut off valves are at the back of a deep cabinet, take the 80 cm.
Upkeep is limescale on the aerator. Unscrewing and soaking the face of the head once or twice a year keeps the column straight instead of splaying, and a dry cloth on the finish avoids water marks on the black and gunmetal versions.
FAQ
Will it connect to French plumbing? The inlet and outlet are 1 2 inch, the thread standard European flexible connectors use, so it ties straight into standard French plumbing. Check your own shut off valves before ordering, and pick a hose option if you do not already have flexibles.
Are the inlet hoses included? On the options that name them. The packing list is the faucet body on its own, and the Series option adds either a 60 cm or an 80 cm inlet pipe, so pick a hose option if you need the flexibles supplied.
Is the brushed gold version real gold? Gold is the name of the finish on this one, applied over the same 304 stainless steel body as the other four. It gives a warm brushed gold finish that wears like the steel underneath.
How much water does it use? It runs on standard household supply, with the pressure and temperature class both listed as normal. Switch between a straight column for filling and a wide spray for rinsing to draw only the water each job needs.
