Frequently bought together
Step out of the shower and the floor stops being a sheet of wet tile.
What you are standing on is a single moulded sheet of PVC, flexible enough to roll but with real body to it. The whole upper face is covered in raised domes, each one ringed with fine concentric ridges, packed in rows across the panel. Between the domes sit dozens of small round openings that go right through the mat, so water that lands on it runs down to the tile instead of pooling on top.
The edges are the giveaway that this is moulded and not cut: a low bead runs around the perimeter and the four corners are rounded off with a fan of moulded lines. It comes in nine footprints and eight flat colours, from a chalky Ivory through to Mars Green, all solid with no printed pattern.
Key Benefits
- Perforated all the way through The small openings between the domes are real holes, not dimples. Water drains straight through rather than sitting under your feet.
- Nine footprints From 65 by 35 cm for the space in front of a basin, through 48 by 48 cm for a square shower tray, up to 80 by 120 cm for a wet room floor. Nine sizes means you measure once instead of compromising.
- Moulded PVC, one piece No backing layer to peel, no glued fibres to shed. It is one material through the whole thickness, which is why it can go under a tap.
- Beaded rim and rounded corners The perimeter bead keeps the edge from curling and the moulded corner fans stop the sharp point that catches a toe.
- Eight flat colours Light Blue, Miami Blue, Gray, Pink, Ivory, Grass Green, White and Mars Green, all solid, all in the same finish.
- Rinses clean A washable surface with nothing woven into it. Hold it under the shower head, shake it and hang it over the bath edge.
Best for: a shower tray or bath floor that is glazed and unforgiving, a bathroom shared with someone who leaves a lake behind them, or a rental where nothing can be drilled or stuck down.
Why It Works
The design is one idea repeated a few hundred times: lift the foot off the flat tile and give the water somewhere to go. The domes raise the sole a few millimetres above the floor and the perforations between them let the water fall away rather than build up on the mat, so you stand on a textured, draining surface instead of a flat sheet of wet tile. A wet bathroom floor always deserves care, so step carefully as you would on any bathroom floor.

How It Fits Your Routine
Lay it out flat in the tray or on the floor and give it a day. PVC arrives with fold memory from the packing and it relaxes out on its own once it has been walked on a few times.
Day to day it stays where you put it and gets rinsed when it gets rinsed. The point of the perforations is that they do not trap the water underneath, so lifting it once a week and hanging it over the bath rail for an hour is enough to keep the underside dry.
For a deeper clean, take it out of the bathroom, hose or shower both faces, work the domes with a soft brush and let it drip dry over a rail rather than folded in a cupboard. Do not put it near a radiator; PVC does not enjoy being cooked.
FAQ
What does the textured surface do? The raised domes give the sole something to grip and lift your foot clear of the flat tile, while the holes drain the water away. It is a moulded PVC sheet with a nubbed, draining face, and a wet bathroom floor still deserves your usual care.
Does it absorb water? No. PVC does not absorb anything. The water goes through the perforations rather than into the mat, which is a different mechanism from a fabric bath mat and worth knowing before you buy.
Which size should I take? Measure the floor of your shower tray or the strip in front of the bath and take the closest size that fits inside it. Nine footprints are offered, including two long narrow ones at 100 by 40 cm and 65 by 35 cm for a basin run.
What is the underside like? The mat lies flat on the tile on its moulded PVC back, and the beaded rim keeps the edges from curling up. The design is the moulded domed face, the drainage perforations and that beaded edge.
