How does it tighten?
A knurled dial on the side tensions the lacing that runs up the sleeve. Turn it one way to draw the wrap snug and turn it back a couple of clicks to release, so you set the hold by feel rather than tugging at straps. You can fine tune it between moves in a second and it stays where you set it through the day.
Does it fit either knee?
Each sleeve is shaped for one side, so choose Left or Right for the knee you want to support. The contoured cut follows the natural line of that leg, which helps the open panel sit centred over the kneecap and keeps the side stays and dial in the right place as you bend and straighten.
How do I pick a size?
Measure around your thigh about fourteen centimetres above the kneecap and match the chart. Medium covers thirty six to forty two centimetres, Large forty two to forty eight, X-Large forty eight to fifty four and XX-Large fifty four to sixty two. If you fall between two sizes, size up for an easier pull on and a lighter wrap, or size down for a closer hold.
What is the gel ring for?
The soft silicone ring seats around the kneecap on the inside of the sleeve. It cushions the patella zone and helps the open panel stay centred over the kneecap as the knee bends, so the wrap frames the joint rather than pressing flat on it. You can leave it in place or take it out before washing.
Will it slide down?
The stretch knit grips the leg and the twist dial draws the lacing snug, so once you set the tension the sleeve holds its place through bending, walking and standing. If it eases off during a long session you simply turn the dial to draw it back in, then carry on without stopping to readjust straps.
What are the metal stays?
Two coiled metal spring stays slot into channels on each side of the sleeve. They flex with the knee and add steady support along the sides of the joint while the front panel stays open and breathable. They lift out easily when you want to wash the sleeve and slide back into place once it is dry.
Can I wear it during activity?
Yes. Set the dial to a snug wrap for a training session, a run or a long day on your feet, and loosen it a touch when you sit down to rest. The ventilated knit and open panel let air through so it stays comfortable across a full active day, on the left or right leg as you need.
How do I clean it?
Take out the two spring stays and the silicone gel ring first, then hand wash the knit sleeve in cool water and press out the excess gently. Lay it flat to air dry away from direct heat so the elastic knit keeps its stretch, and once it is fully dry slide the stays and the ring back into place ready for the next wear.
