How does the lanyard attach to my phone?
A matte black lobster clip on the end of the cord snaps onto a loop. If your case already has a loop it clips straight on. If it does not, the set includes a thin black tether patch that you slot under the case so the clip has something to grab. Either way the phone clicks on and off in a second.
Can I change the length once it is on?
Yes. The metal buckle slides along the woven cord and grips where you stop it, so you can shorten the strap to a wrist loop at a desk or let it out to a crossbody drop on the walk. The 150cm version is fully adjustable across that whole range, while the 110cm and 120cm straps sit at a fixed length.
Will it hold the weight of my phone?
Yes. The cord is a thick 7mm woven rope and the buckle and clip are metal, made to carry a phone in its case through a full day of walking and transit. The strap stays round under the load instead of stretching thin, and the lobster clip stays shut as the phone swings at your side.
What colors and lengths can I pick?
Colors are Cool Black, Premium Gray, Gray Mountain Green, Cinnamon Red Tea, Black White Zebra, Fluorescent Green and Fluorescent Magenta. Lengths are a fixed 110cm, a fixed 120cm and a 150cm adjustable strap, so you can match the drop to your height and the color to your case or bag.
Does it fit a phone with a thick case?
It does. The tether patch is thin and flexible, so it slips between the phone and most cases without stopping the case from closing or the buttons from working. Once the patch is in place the lobster clip attaches to its small tab, and you can move the same patch to another phone later.
Is the strap comfortable around the neck?
The cord is round and woven rather than a thin flat band, so it sits softly across the neck and shoulder instead of digging in. Worn crossbody the weight spreads over the shoulder, and for short stretches you can shorten it to a wrist loop so the phone rides on your hand instead.
Can I use it on a bag or keys instead?
Yes. The lobster clip will snap onto a bag zip pull, a belt loop or a key ring, so the same lanyard can hold a small pouch, a card holder or your keys when you are not carrying the phone on it. The buckle still lets you set how far the items hang.
How do I keep it clean?
Wipe the woven cord with a damp cloth and let it air dry flat, which lifts everyday dust and marks from the rope. Keep the metal buckle dry so it keeps gripping the cord, and avoid soaking the whole strap, since a fully wet cord takes longer to dry and can leave the buckle slow to hold.
