The strap clips on with metal fittings and the top closes with a zipper buckle, all in the same dark finish so the details read as one set.

Wipe the oil wax cowhide with a soft dry cloth to lift dust and keep its sheen, and let the leather age into its patina naturally rather than trying to keep it factory new. Keep it out of heavy rain and direct heat, wipe the metal zippers and rivets dry if they get damp, and store the bag lightly stuffed so the rounded bucket shape keeps its form between uses.
