FAQ

Questions before checkout

How does the bed stay on the car seat?
Two leather snap straps loop over the rear headrests and press shut to hold the bed firmly against the seat, while an anti slip dotted base grips the upholstery underneath. Together they stop the bed sliding forward or shifting when you brake or take a corner. You set it up in seconds by looping the straps over the headrests and pressing the snaps closed, then resting the bed against the seat.
Does it keep my dog secured while I drive?
Yes. A short cord with a safety buckle clips to your dog's harness and keeps them seated inside the padded walls rather than climbing toward the front. It works with the headrest straps and the anti slip base, so the bed stays put and your dog stays in their spot. The tether is meant for a harness rather than a collar, so the load spreads across the chest and a restless dog settles.
What size is it and which dogs does it suit?
This bed measures 120 by 42 by 45cm and is built for larger dogs up to 50kg. The long footprint gives a bigger dog room to sit up, turn around or stretch out along the base, while the high bolster walls rise on all four sides for a chin rest. If your dog likes to curl rather than stretch, they tuck into one end against the padded edge. Check that the 120cm length suits your back seat first.
Can the cover be washed?
Yes. A full length side zip runs along the bed so the outer cover lifts off the padded core. Slip the cover away, machine wash it on a gentle cold cycle and let it air dry, then zip it back over the padding. Because the part that holds fur and travel smells is the part you can remove, the bed stays fresh between trips. Wipe the anti slip base with a damp cloth so the dotted grip keeps working.
Will the high walls help an anxious dog?
Many owners find they do. The padded bolster rises on all four sides, so a nervous traveller has a wall to lean into and a chin to rest on rather than an open, sliding seat. The raised edge gives a clear view out of the window, which often settles pacing and whining on longer drives. Paired with the harness tether, the walls turn the back seat into a defined spot your dog learns to ride in calmly.
What colours does it come in?
You can choose from three colourways in the variants: a two tone Green with an orange interior, a deep Navy Blue, and a Black leather look finish. The Green and Navy Blue use a smooth wipe clean oxford style outer, while the Black has a faux leather look. Whichever you pick, the build is the same: high bolster walls, headrest snap straps, a harness tether, an anti slip base and a zip off cover.
Can I use it at home as well as in the car?
Yes. Between drives the bed lifts straight out and works as a floor nap spot at home, so your dog already knows its smell and shape before they ride. The anti slip dotted base keeps it steady on hard floors too, and the bolster walls give the same tucked in feeling indoors. Letting your dog rest in it at home first often makes trips easier, since they climb into a familiar bed on travel day.
How do I set it up before a trip?
Setup takes under a minute. Loop the two leather straps over the back headrests and press the snaps shut, then rest the bed against the seat so the anti slip base settles onto the upholstery. Once your dog hops in, clip the tether buckle to their harness and they have a cushioned spot for the whole journey. When you arrive, unclip the tether and lift the bed out to use as a floor bed at home.
