Campers describe this as a clever two in one light, with the reel out bead string drawing the most comments for the way it winds back into the disc with the crank instead of tangling. Many like hanging it from the bail inside a tent or over a table for a soft 360 glow, and find the warm white easy on the eyes for cooking and reading. Several picked the RGB app version for colour scenes on the balcony. Reviewers like the USB C charging and that one charge lasts an evening. A few bought a second for a bigger setup.
Two lights in one
Did not expect the panel and the bead ring to be this bright on their own. Wound the string around the awning for the soft glow and used the panel for cooking. The bail handle hooks onto everything. Really well thought out.
Great for the tent
Bought the 10m warm white. Hangs off the bail nicely and the warm tone is easy on the eyes at night. Charges by USB C off my power bank which is handy. Knocked a star only because I wanted it a touch brighter on full string.
RGB version is fun
Got the app one for the balcony. The colour scenes through the phone are great and there is a mode that moves with music. Still runs plain warm white when I want calm. The string reels back in so storage is tidy.
Lit our whole campsite
Wound the 20m string between two poles and hung the disc in the middle on its handle. The 360 glow made the whole pitch feel cosy. Reeling it back in at the end with the crank took seconds. My partner wants one now.
Tidy and practical
The disc is small and light and the string disappears inside it which is the whole point for me. Used it on a tarp setup and over the picnic table. IPX4 handled the dew fine overnight. Good little camp light.
Hangs anywhere
The folding bail is the part I use most, it hooks straight onto the tent ceiling loop. Warm white panel for inside, string out for the porch of the tent. Charges quick on USB C. Packs flat into the side pocket of my bag.
Bought it for my dad
He camps a lot and hated tangled string lights. This one reels itself back into the disc so he was sold straight away. He hangs it over the table at the caravan. Says the warm light is much nicer than his old lantern.
Good glow, easy charge
The bead ring and panel give a soft even light rather than a harsh beam, which is what I wanted for reading in the tent. The crank to wind the string in is satisfying. USB C charging means one less cable type to pack.
Lighter and tidier than my lantern
Replaced a bulky lantern with this disc. The reel out string covers way more area and winds away clean. Hung it in the tent on the bail and used the string round the gazebo. Lasted the whole evening on one charge.
Crank storage just works
I have lost count of the string lights I have thrown out because they tangled. This one cranks back into the body every time and stays neat. The warm white is cosy and the handle hooks anywhere. Take it on every trip now.
Great for the balcony too
Bought it for camping but it lives on the balcony half the time. Wound the string along the rail and hang the disc on a hook. The warm glow is lovely at night. Splash resistant so the odd shower does not bother it.
My new camp light
This has knocked my old battery lantern out of the bag. No more AA cells, it just charges by USB C. The string reels in, the bail hangs it, the panel lights the table. Soft 360 glow around the tent. No complaints.
20m version covers a big pitch
Went for the long 20m string for a family setup. Strung it round the awning and hung the disc in the middle. Loads of soft light and more modes to choose from. Reeled it all back into the disc in under a minute.
Tidy little light
Picked it as a gift for a friend who camps. It arrived neat in the box with the cable. The reel in string and the hanging handle were the things she liked most. Warm white is the right tone for a tent. Easy to charge.
Soft light, no tangles
Best of both for me. The disc lights the spot in front and the string spreads light around the whole tent, then winds away with the crank so nothing tangles. Hangs off the bail overhead. USB C charge lasts the evening.
He uses it every weekend
Got this for my brother who is always out camping. He likes that the string pulls out for the whole site and cranks back into the disc after. Hangs it in the tent on the handle. Says the warm light is much cosier than before.
Practical and compact
The disc is small enough for a jacket pocket and the string lives inside it. Used it on a hike overnight, hung it from a branch on the bail. Soft even glow, not a harsh beam. Splash resistant held up to the morning dew fine.
The crank is so satisfying
Did not think a hand crank would be the selling point but reeling the string back into the disc never gets old, and it means zero tangles. The RGB app version I got does proper colour scenes for the garden. Charges on USB C.
Great present for a camper
Bought it for my son who loves camping. The reel in string and the hanging handle got an instant reaction. He strung it round the tent the first night. Says the warm glow is just right and that USB C charging is so much easier.
Does the job nicely
Wanted one light that does the lantern and the string lights both. This covers it. The panel lights the table, the string wraps the awning, and it all reels into the disc. Hangs on the bail. A quick USB C top up and it is ready.
Cosy light, packs tiny
Surprised how small it packs given how much light it puts out. The string reels into the body so the whole thing is one neat disc in the bag. Hung it in the tent and over the table on the handle. Warm white is spot on for night.

Took this on a weekend in the hills and the string winding back into the disc with the little crank is the best bit. No more untangling fairy lights in the dark. Hung it from the tent loop and it lit the whole inside.
