FAQ

Questions before checkout

Does it come with more than one strap?
Yes. Each watch ships with two bands, a steel link bracelet and a woven canvas strap, so you can wear it dressed up on the metal bracelet or casual on the canvas. A strap removal tool and a small screwdriver come in the same box, so you change between the two at home without a trip to a shop.
What kind of dial is it?
It is an open skeleton style chronograph dial. The face is cut away so you see through to the workings, framed behind three sub dials, a date window and a bright contrast second hand. The Megir name reads across the top of the dial. The look is detailed and mechanical rather than a plain flat face.
What shape is the case?
The case is square with softly cut corners, and exposed screws sit on the layered bezel. Rather than a round dial, the squared case gives the watch a bold, built line on the wrist. It is the shape that sets this one apart from a standard round watch next to it.
Is this an automatic watch?
The dial is styled as an open skeleton so you can see the workings, which gives it a mechanical look. It runs on a quartz movement with hands, a date window and chronograph sub dials, so you get the open detailed face with simple, reliable everyday timekeeping and no winding routine.
How do I swap the bracelet for the canvas strap?
The box includes a strap removal tool and a small screwdriver for the job. You use them to release the spring bars, lift off one band and fit the other, then seat the bars back in place. It takes a few minutes at a table, so you can move between the steel bracelet and the canvas strap as your day changes.
What colors can I choose?
The case comes in black, rose gold or steel tones, and the canvas strap comes in green, blue, red or orange, in the listed combinations. The steel bracelet suits every case tone. So you set a base case color and then a strap color, and the same watch can read muted or bright depending on which band is on.
Can I wear it in water or while swimming?
It is best to keep it away from heavy water exposure, so it is not made for swimming or showering. Wipe the case and both bands with a soft cloth to keep the open dial clear. Treat it as an everyday wrist watch for desk hours, errands and evenings rather than a dive or sports water watch.
Will it fit my wrist?
The canvas strap threads through a buckle and adjusts across a range of wrist sizes, and the steel bracelet can be sized down with the included tool by removing links. The square case keeps a bold line over a sleeve or beside a cuff, so you set a comfortable hold on whichever band you are wearing.
