How does the splash guard work?
A hinged cover sits directly over the cutting edge. As you press the lever, the trimmed nail pieces drop into the guard instead of flicking onto the floor or sink. When you are finished, you open the guard over a bin and the collected pieces tip straight out, so cleanup is a quick tip rather than a sweep around the bathroom.
What are the blades made of?
The blades are sharpened stainless steel. The cutting edges meet cleanly so the clipper leaves a smooth, clean line on the nail rather than crushing it or leaving a ragged tear. Wipe the steel dry after use and the blades stay clean and ready for the next trim.
What is the difference between Large and Small?
Large is sized for toenails and thicker nails, where you want a wider, stronger bite. Small suits fingernails and finer detail work. If you want to cover both, the two piece set pairs a large and a small unit, so you have the right clipper for hands and feet.
What finishes can I choose?
The clipper comes in five finishes: gun black, gun gray, bronze, pearl silver and champagne gold. Each one keeps the same slim shape and splash guard, so you can pick the look that matches the rest of your grooming kit or simply the colour you like best.
Should I buy a single clipper or the set?
A single clipper covers the size you trim most, so pick Large for toenails or Small for fingernails. The two piece set pairs a large and a small unit, which is handy if you want one for hands and one for feet, or to keep a spare in a travel pouch.
Is it good for travel?
Yes. The long lever arm folds flat against the slim body, so the clipper takes up little room in a drawer, wash bag or travel pouch. The splash guard also keeps clippings contained, which is useful when you are grooming away from home and want to keep the space tidy.
How do I keep it working well?
After each use, open the guard over a bin to empty the collected pieces, then wipe the blades dry with a cloth. Keeping the steel clean and the hinge clear of debris lets the lever fold smoothly and the blades stay sharp, so the clipper keeps giving a clean cut over time.
Does it really catch all the clippings?
The guard sits over the blade and catches the clippings as you cut, so the pieces collect inside the cover instead of scattering. The very smallest slivers can still escape now and then, but the guard catches the bulk of each trim, which makes cleanup far quicker than clipping into the open air.
