FAQ

Questions before checkout

Do these shoes have laces?
No, they are slip-on shoes with no laces. A wide soft collar opens enough for you to step straight in without bending down or tying anything, then the collar seats the heel so the shoe holds its place as you walk. You step in at the door and go, and kick them off just as fast when you get home.
What is the upper made of?
The upper is a soft flexible suede that bends with the foot and breaks in quickly without rubbing. After a few wears it softens to the shape of your foot, so the shoe feels broken in early. Brush it now and then with a soft suede brush to keep the nap even and the colour looking fresh.
Are they true to size?
They follow standard EU sizing from 38 to 48, eleven sizes in all. Most people find their usual size works well. If you are between sizes or have a wider foot, going one size up gives a roomier, more relaxed fit. The wide slip-on collar also leaves a little room to step in comfortably.
What colours can I choose?
There are seven neutral tones to choose from, brown, navy blue, khaki gray, dark gray, ocean blue, coffee brown and light gray. The soft suede gives each colour a calm, low-key finish that pairs easily with jeans, chinos and shorts, so you can pick the one that fits your wardrobe and everyday look.
What surfaces are they good for?
The textured rubber outsole grips pavement, tile and dry packed paths, so they suit everyday walking, commuting and weekend errands. They are an everyday casual shoe rather than a trail or sports shoe, so keep them for city ground, indoor floors and dry walks rather than wet rock or muddy ground.
Are they comfortable for all-day wear?
Yes. The footbed is cushioned and shaped to support the arch and soften the heel, while the soft upper and flexible sole move with the foot. Many wearers keep them on from morning through evening, from the commute to errands to a relaxed evening out, without the rubbing or stiffness of a brand new shoe.
How do I keep the suede looking good?
Brush the suede with a soft suede brush to lift dust and keep the nap even, and wipe the rubber sole with a damp cloth. Let the shoes air dry away from direct heat after a wet day, and store them somewhere cool and dry. A light brush every week or two keeps the upper soft and the colour even.
Can I wear them without socks?
Yes, the soft suede lining sits smooth against the foot, so many wearers slip them on bare in warmer weather for a relaxed look. In cooler months a thin pair of socks adds warmth and keeps the inside fresh. Either way, the cushioned footbed and flexible upper keep the shoe comfortable from the first step.
