Hold the chain at the clasp end and press the small lever to open the lobster clasp. The flat closure swings open so you can pass it through the loop without bending the thin snake bone weave.

Fasten it at the nape
Bring the chain around the neck and hook the lobster clasp through the ring at the back. It closes flat against the nape so the catch sits neat and does not interrupt the smooth line of the chain.

Let the weave settle flat
Let go and the flat snake bone links fall back against the collarbone in one smooth line rather than twisting. On the gold version, slide along the 5cm extender to sit the chain higher or lower.
